Goah

Goah · Near the southern end of the Hinnom Valley toward its confluence with the Kidron, south of Jerusalem (exact site uncertain)
The southern turning point of Jerusalem's rebuilt boundary in Jeremiah's prophecy, where the line turns from Gareb.
First mentioned in the Bible
"And all the valley of the carcasses and of the ashes, and all the terraced fields as far as the Kidron Valley, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, will become something holy to Jehovah. It will never again be uprooted or torn down."— Jeremiah 31:40
Background
Goah (Hebrew, possibly "place of outcry/wailing") appears alongside Gareb in Jeremiah's prophecy of Jerusalem's rebuilding (Jer 31:39). The measuring line turns from the hill of Gareb "toward Goah," marking where the new boundary bends south along the Hinnom Valley southwest of the city. Goah lay outside the walls of Jeremiah's day. The prophet goes on to declare that the whole valley of the carcasses and ashes, and all the fields as far as the Kidron and the corner of the Horse Gate eastward, "shall be holy to Jehovah; it shall never again be uprooted or torn down" (Jer 31:40) — even the Hinnom Valley, where refuse was burned, would become holy to Jehovah God, foreshadowing the complete cleansing of Jerusalem.

He also made unfit for worship Toʹpheth, which is in the Valley of the Sons of Hinʹnom, so that no one could make his son or his daughter pass through the fire to Moʹlech.— 2 Kings 23:10
